Taking musical cues from The Band and Count Ossie, this previously unreleased 45 version of The Temptations “I Wish It Would Rain” is the personification of the Jamaica To Toronto sound, combining the Yonge Street strip’s gutbucket R&B with the Nyabinghi-feel of the Rastafarians.
